Established in 2004, KMCT School of Business (KSB), an autonomous department of management studies of KMCT College of Engineering, is fast emerging as a leading business school with its eminent faculty, excellent facilities and an advantageous location attracting students from diverse fields and from all parts of the country. Affiliated to the University of Calicut and approved by AICTE, New Delhi, the two year Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme at KSB is a much respected qualification in the industry.

Course Offered
Two years full time Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. The areas of specialisation includes, Marketing, Finance, Systems and Human Resources. Additional certificate courses in Logistics Management, Technology Management and International Business are also offered for better employability subject to University approval.

Eligibility
Any bachelor degree recognised by University of Calicut, with at least 50% marks in aggregate including all subjects and languages put together. For SC & ST candidates, a pass is sufficient, while for OBC candidates 5% relaxation is allowed. Candidates have to also appear for MAT examination followed by Group discussion and Personal Interview for selection.

Qualified and experienced core faculty along with eminent visiting and guest faculty drawn from leading management institutes and industries ably guide the students through the course and its myriad applications.

Co-curricular Activities
Equal importance is given to academic activities and personal development programmes of each student in KSB. Meditation and relaxation techniques are taught to make it a life pattern for unification of the mind and body. Besides, regular quiz programmes, news and views, extempore speech, public speaking, debates, role plays, group discussions, case-analysis, economic trend analysis brain storming sessions, presentations, MDPs, management games, book reviews, psychometric tests etc., are some of the routine events organized in KSB. The personal development of students are monitored , evaluated and corrected by faculty members on a regular basis.

Students are given vital roles in Event Management activities and preparation of study materials on different topics with the help of internet, reference books, journals and e-learning methods.

KMCT Campus is the first Wi-Fi (wireless) campus under the private Professional Educational Institutions in Kerala. This is to provide sufficient opportunity to the Students–turned–Managers to use the laptop computer most effectively in their learning and application processes.
