Affiliated to University of Calicut and approved by the Pharmacy Council of India, AICTE and Govt. of Kerala, National College of Pharmacy—setup in 1996—has earned its name as the leading pharmacy college in the region with its excellent facilities, dedicated faculty and enviable placement record.

Courses Offered
The college offers 2 years Diploma in Pharmacy (D. Pharm, started in 1996) and 4 years Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm, started in 2002) courses.

Eligibility
For D.Pharm, a pass in Plus Two or equivalent in the science subjects is required and for B.Pharm, a pass in Plus Two with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Mathematics and 50% marks in Biology/ Mathematics respectively is required.

Faculty
Experienced faculties along with eminent guest faculties give students a wide exposure to the subjects.

Facilities
Classrooms are spacious with modern teaching aids. Fully equipped labs with most modern equipments, Computer labs with internet facilities and a library with thousands of pharmacy books, journals and CDs help students in their academic pursuits.
Frequent seminars, presentations and exposure to research work give them a competitive edge in their professional career. Students get ample opportunities to design, formulate and analyse drugs. They will be also trained in manufacturing of drugs by working in the R&D wing of the College.

Finest Laboratories
Equipped with modern equipments including sixteen station tablet punching machine, eight bucket automatic digital dissolution equipment, automatic controlled digital disintegrator and friability tester etc. in the Pharmaceutics Lab, Double beam UV visible spectrophotometer, HPLC, flame photometer, conductometer etc. in the analytical lab. Projection microscope with digital camera, microtomes etc. in the Pharmacognosy lab. Tissue culture microbiology lab is the other significant lab in the college.
