KTU Rules & Regulations

KMCT School of Business is affiliated to APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University (KTU). Academic operations - admissions, attendance, evaluation and discipline - follow KTU regulations.

Academic Calendar

KSB follows the academic calendar notified by KTU each semester. Important dates - commencement, internals, end-semester exams and breaks - are published on the notice board and shared with students at the start of every term.

Attendance & Conduct

A minimum of 75% attendance is required to be eligible for end-semester examinations, in line with KTU norms. Students are expected to maintain a professional standard of conduct on campus and during industry visits.

Evaluation

Internal and external evaluation weightages follow the KTU regulations for MBA and MCA programmes. Continuous assessment includes assignments, seminars, case studies and class tests in addition to internal exams.

Discipline & Anti-Ragging

KSB follows AICTE and KTU directives on student discipline. Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited - see the Anti-Ragging Committee page for helplines and reporting channels.
