Civil Engineering

The Department of Civil Engineering was started in the year 2011 with an intake of 60 students. The Department is also equipped with five Engineering Laboratories which enhances the students to work with equipment like Theodolite, Total station, UTM, Compressive testing machine which may also cater to complete their Project work. The main courses in the Program are Surveying I & II, Construction materials and engineering, Analysis of structures I & II, Structural design, Transportation Engg., Environmental Engg., Building drawing and structural drawing and Quantity surveying. VISION To excel in technical competency with moral values in Civil Engineering by imparting best technological and Engineering practices from a National perspective. MISSION 1. To prepare students to be highly skilled professionals capable of carrying out real time situations. 2. To accelerate innovation and entrepreneurship, providing tools, resources and support needed to turn ideas into successful ventures. 3. To inplant moral values and social commitment to becomea responsible Civil Engineer.

Diploma holders work in construction supervision, surveying, quantity estimation, PWD/private contracting, and infrastructure development projects.
