National Service Scheme

The National Service Scheme of KMCT Polytechnic College functions to instil social commitment among its students. The first NSS unit (Unit No. 190) started in November 2007; a second unit (Unit No. 210) was sanctioned in January 2009.

NSS units frequently conduct campus and community programmes for student well-being and character development, including Vimukthi drug-abuse awareness, Anuvimuktha Jalam well cleaning, visits to the blind home, kitchen gardening, Dahajalam bird water basins, blood donation camps, Punarjani rejuvenation drives, signature campaigns, and railway station cleaning.

Each unit conducts an annual seven-day camp in remote locations where students undertake road repairs, government office renovation, and community engineering works.
