Computer Hardware Engineering

The Department of Computer Hardware Engineering was established in 2014 with the in take of 60 students. This department offers 3 years engineering diploma course affiliated to AICTE and Department of Technical Education, Kerala. VISION To Excel in the emerging areas of Computer Hardware Engineering by providing technical knowledge and practices including human values to make the students socially committed professionals. MISSION 1. To provide theoretical and practical training in computer hardware and software. 2. To Improvise self-confidence and problem-solving individuals for achieving quality technical education and excellence. 3. To encourage entrepreneurship skills among students and to mould engineers with social commitment. PROGRAM SPECIFIC OUTCOMES (PSO): 1 . Attain the ability to design and develop hardware and software-based systems. 2. Adapt state-of-the-art Computer Hardware Engineering technology for the operation and application of computer hardware and Networking to cope up with current industrial standards. 3. Update the knowledge through lifelong learning that contributes to personal and professional growth. PROGRAM EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES (PEOs): 1. Be a Competent professional with knowledge of Computer Hardware Engineering to pursue a variety of careers/higher education. 2.Become a socially committed computer engineer having mutual respect, effective communication skills, high ethical values and empathy to serve society. 3.Gain Information in different domains of Computer Hardware and Engineering and experience a situation favor in developing an aptitude for successful career, business and higher education.

Graduates pursue careers in hardware servicing, networking, system administration, IT support, and software/hardware integration roles across Kerala and national IT hubs.
