Library details

Central library

The Library and Information Centre of this college started in the year 2009 with a collection of 1500 books. At present, it has a collection of 8781 volumes and 3250 titles,20 International journals, 12 national journals. Our Library with a few exceptions is regarded as a service institution. Its aim is to enable users to make the most effective use of resources and services. The Library and Information Centre acquires materials, processes it and make it available for use rather than preservation. It allows open access to its collection and provides service to students and teachers. It is expected to convert the potential users to habitual. Reference & reading room: Reference books, journals, magazines, and weeklies are available for consultation in the library. These materials are not issued on loan, so trainees can rely on an up-to-date reference section during preparation and project work. Lending collection: Textbooks and general titles from the main collection may be borrowed according to library rules. Trainees are encouraged to use the catalogue and staff guidance to locate materials for each semester. Library support: Library staff assist students and faculty with locating resources, using the open-access layout, and making effective use of print and periodical holdings alongside the college’s digital learning goals. For full collection statistics and history, see the figures and overview above.
