The Department of Applied Science and Humanities delivers the first-year foundation programme in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English, and professional communication for all B.Tech branches.

The department strengthens analytical thinking and communication skills that underpin advanced engineering study across the campus.

Vision

To be a department of excellence in providing a strong foundation of Mathematics, basic sciences, Managerial skills, and Professional Ethics which are fundamentals in engineering and technology.

Mission

To strengthen engineering education with the help of tools and laboratories for teaching mathematics and basic sciences.
To modulate the soft skills and management skills of students to work as competent women engineers with high moral values and ethics.

Program Educational Objectives

The students will be able to:

1 Identify, formulate, and evaluate engineering problems.
2 Prepare with problem-solving skills, managerial skills, laboratory skills, and soft skills for technical careers in solving critical problems.
