About IQAC

Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) has been established in the college as proposed by UGC and NAAC. The prime task of the IQAC is to develop a system for conscious, consistent and catalytic improvement in the overall performance of the institution.

IQAC is part of the institution's system and works towards realization of the goals of quality enhancement and sustained development.

Objectives

Develop a system for conscious, consistent and catalytic action to improve the academic and administrative performance of the college.

Provide greater clarity and focus in institutional functioning towards quality enhancement and facilitate internalization of the quality culture.

Contribute towards enhancement and integration among the activities of the college and institutionalize good practices.

Provide a sound basis for decision making to improve institutional functioning.

Act as a change agent in the institution and strengthen internal communication.

Responsibilities

Develop and apply quality benchmarks for academic and administrative activities.

Disseminate information on quality parameters in higher education.

Organize workshops on quality-related themes and documentation of activities.

Prepare Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) as per guidelines.

Build a participatory culture of continuous improvement across departments.
