How to raise a complaint, and how it is dealt with.
This policy covers a complaint about an admission, a fee, a payment, a refund, this website or the student portal, the use of your personal information, or the conduct of a service provided by KMCT College of Engineering for Women, Kallanthode.
Academic grievances, examination grievances, and complaints of ragging, harassment or discrimination are dealt with by the committees constituted for that purpose under the rules of the university and the regulatory bodies. Their details are published on this website.
Write to the office concerned - the accounts office for a fee or refund matter, the administrative office for anything else - or use the grievance form in the student portal.

Every grievance is recorded with its reference number, the date received, the action taken and the date closed. Records are retained for 3 years. A summary is placed before the management periodically.
You may ask that your identity not be disclosed to the person your complaint concerns, and we will honour that where it is possible to deal with the complaint on that basis. No student will be disadvantaged for having raised a grievance in good faith.
