The Library Committee serves to guarantee the efficient operation of the College Library, ensuring it complies with all institutional norms, instructions, directives, and policies.

Responsibilities

Promote access to the library’s services and informational resources for all users.
Provide appropriate documentation services and regularly update the library's collection.
Work towards the modernization and improvement of both the library and its documentation services.
Formulate policies and procedures to ensure the effective use of all library resources.
Implement measures to increase the number of readers and overall library usage.
Prepare a budget detailing the book requirements for each academic department and submit it to the finance committee.
Procure books in sufficient quantities well ahead of the beginning of each academic semester.
Provide and maintain the reading room facility for study and research.
Provide and maintain Internet access facilities for users in the library.
Manage the library operations utilizing a specialized Library Management System.
