The Department of Mechanical Engineering was established in the year 2002. The department offers a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (60 seats) and an M.Tech in Manufacturing Engineering (9 seats). The B.Tech and M.Tech programmes are approved by AICTE, New Delhi, and are as per the curriculum and syllabus of APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, Trivandrum
