The Planning and Monitoring Committee in an engineering college is central to strategic planning, resource allocation, and fostering continuous institutional improvement. It is tasked with creating and executing the college's strategic plan, defining long-term objectives, and ensuring these goals are in alignment with the institution's core mission.

Responsibilities
Mandate and scope of work
- 1 Planning for the enhancement of the Institute's infrastructure, including the modernization of laboratories, boosting Research & Development (R&D) efforts, and improving Institute-Industry Interaction.
- 2 Planning and supervising various department-level activities, such as organizing symposiums, Guest Lectures, workshops, and both National and International Conferences.
- 3 Monitoring the performance of students in academics, as well as the progress of their training and placement activities.
- 4 Planning and overseeing the professional development of the faculty.
